Q. How long does your artwork take to complete

The Artwork itself takes approximately 9 to 14 days to create,

Q. I submitted my order and my photo. What happens next?

After we receive your photo and it is suitable for creation, we will then charge half payment to start and the creation process will begin. Once the artist has completed your artwork, you will receive a preview via email. After review, you can either request for modification or approve the artwork .

Q. What types of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Venmo, Cash App, credit card, paypal.

Q. Can I pay cash when my drawing is delivered?

A. At the moment we do not offer Cash payment upon delivery of your drawing but you can chose from any of our electronic payment options. Payment is required before we commence with the drawing.

Q. What types of files do you accept?

We can accept photographs in a number of popular formats (JPEG). Don't worry about the file size, the larger the better. A large picture will allow our artists to better see the details and intricacies need to create an incredible finished portrait. If you send us a poor quality photo, it will be difficult for our artist to produce a high quality portrait for you.

Q. My photograph is not in a digital format. What can I do?

There are a couple options. You can mail the photograph to us, or you can take your photograph to a local copy center and scan it. Make sure you include contact information (name, phone number, email) with the photograph so we may contact you after we receive the photograph.

Q. I can't decide which photograph will make a better portrait. Can you help?

Of course we can! Simply send us the photographs that you are considering. We will have an artist look over your submissions, and can make a recommendation on which photo would make a better portrait, and why.

Q. What are the requirements for submitting a digital photo?

We require all photos to be clear enough so that our artists can zoom in on the finer details of the face, particularly the eyes, nose and mouth. If these areas are blurry or pixilated, it will make it difficult for our artists to create a realistic portrait for you.

If your photo was taken on a digital camera, be sure to send us the original file from the camera itself but not a re-sized version.

If you are scanning a hard copy of a photo, be sure that your scanner's settings are set at the highest quality/resolution possible. Please be aware that social media sites, such as Facebook, shrink your photos as they are uploaded, so it is extremely important that photos taken from a social media site are clear.

If you are not sure whether your photo is clear enough for our artists, please email us your photo at orders@mydavinci.com for a free consultation. After you place an order, We will notify you if we require a better quality photo before beginning your artwork. With the Exception of PayPal, your card will not be charged until we have a photo of good quality for your order.

Q. Can you combine multiple photos? Can two (or more) photographs be combined to make one portrait?

Yes, upload as many photos as you would like. We'd love to creative a unique artwork from your mutiple photos. Once we receive your photos, We will create a rough layout, per your instructions, that will be sent to you for your approval before they start your artwork.

Q. Is it really hand painted? Can I see the brush strokes?

Yes, 100% it is hand drawing on paper! To prove it to you, we'd love to send you some process pictures of artists drawing your portrait.

Q. Do I get to see my artwork before I receive it?

We will gladly provide a photograph of the finished painting through e-mail so that you can see what it looks like before we ship. If you are not completely satisfied with the work that you have received, we will gladly make any changes that you request for absolutely no charge to you. We will not send your painting to you until you have approved it and are completely satisfied with the end result.

Q. Will I receive a notification from your studio after I place the order?

Yes, we will contact you soon after an order is placed. We will take the opportunity to tell you if your photo is suitable for our artist or not, and confirm any special instructions that you may have.

Q. Can I track my package once it is shipped?

You will receive an email when your package is shipped that will include all tracking information. If there is a problem with your shipment, please contact us via gongarts@yahoo.com

Q. I want to order more than one portrait. Do you offer discounts?

We are more than willing to work with you on pricing if you are ordering several paintings from us. For more information on discount possibilities, please contact us via gongarts@yahoo.com .

Q. How do I know if I will like my painting?

After artist finishes your portrait, we will take a photo of the painting and send it to you for review. You can make suggestions and changes if you need them at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. After you approve, we will prepare it for shipment directly to you. We will not ship a painting if you are not 100-percent satisfied with it. If you are still unhappy with your painting after the necessary changes have been made, contact us and we will refund your money in full.
